Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a unique experience nestled in the rainforest with lots of birds and lizards around. Although the swim-up bar and restaurant to your room were convenient, the uphill trek from the pools was unexpectedly steep. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat.
The hotel offers extra large and comfortable rooms but they are really dated. Though the rooms are awkwardly large and not furnished properly, they are adequate. Sadly, there was no internet access, and cleanliness was a concern. The service was top-notch with a friendly and professional staff. The location is fantastic with a butterfly farm nearby and very close to all parks and activities in La Fortuna. The dining experience was very good and filling, but lunch and dinner options were limited and somewhat pricey. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.
The hotel is a cozy retreat, offering spacious and comfortable rooms with some tin/metal roofing. The staff is very friendly, although service could use some improvement. The location is a landmark on its and convenient for activities in the La Fortuna area. The dining experience is very good with a variety of delicious options. The hotel facilities are well-maintained and modern.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, although they lacked furniture. The service was top-notch overall, except for one small hiccup. The location was fantastic with stunning views of the volcano and great access to hot springs pools. The dining experience was decent but could use some improvement. The property boasted amazing facilities and beautiful surroundings.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with beautiful furniture but some missing pieces. The service exemplifies the Costa Rican Pura Vida spirit, with staff going above and beyond. The location is impressive, with lush tropical surroundings and convenient access to activities. The dining experience is plentiful and amazing, making it an incredible value.
The hotel is great for families with small children who can enjoy the outdoor open spaces and take the shuttles easily. The rooms are huge and comfortable, although the limited Wi-Fi only in common areas can be a bit inconvenient.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although comfy, felt a bit dated and were far from the reception. On the bright side, they were very spacious with high ceilings and a lovely terrace. The service was top-notch with the staff being lovely and super helpful, especially Jonathan in the restaurant area. The location, amidst lush greenery and close to all parks and activities in La Fortuna, was a nature lover's paradise. However, some areas, such as the flow of people, could use redesigning to improve the overall experience.
The hotel offers spacious rooms but is in desperate need of renovation. The service was exceptional, especially with assistance in making transportation arrangements. The location is stunning, close to the volcano and with beautiful surroundings. The dining options were satisfactory, with beautiful views. The facilities need updating, but the experience was overall pleasant.
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms surrounded by luxuriant vegetation. The service is exceptional with kind and attentive staff. The location is easily accessible, close to various activities, and features gorgeous views. The dining experience is decent but not outstanding. Overall, a good value for your money.
The hotel offers spacious rooms that were clean and decently decorated with quality linens and furnishings. The service was attentive to detail, although there was a delay at times. The location, with stunning views of the volcano, was serene despite being near maintenance buildings. Dining options were delicious but slightly limited and pricey. The facilities were well-maintained.
The hotel is located in a stunning natural setting with a view of the Arenal volcano and lush greenery, offering a great departure point for exploring La Fortuna. The rooms were spacious but appeared tired and old, lacking coffee makers. The service was exceptional, with the staff being wonderful and accommodating. The dining provided delicious and varied options, although the facilities seemed a bit worn down.
My stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location offered exceptional views and opportunities to observe wildlife. The dining experience was good, although there could have been more variety in the menu.
The hotel is situated on the beautiful grounds with many pools, animal viewing areas, and offers a departure point to various La Fortuna activities. The rooms are below average for the area and lack Wi-Fi; however, bug spray is provided. The staff provides exceptional and friendly service, but temperature adjustments were needed for functionality. The location is very nice with access to thermal waters pool, zip-lining, and nature tours. The dining options offer a good variety; however, it can get busy. The facilities are adequate.
The hotel offers unique room layouts with some wasted space and a slightly dated feel. The pools, while not as expected from the pictures, are a bit of a trek up the hill and designed in an unconventional way. Rooms consist of a small double room, a spacious bathroom, and an additional single room.
The hotel is tucked up the hill, offering spacious rooms for various activities, although slightly outdated. The service was initially engaging but turned cold post-payment, leaving a mixed impression. The location, set amidst the jungle foothills of Arenal volcano, is breathtaking, yet lacking unique features. The dining options, though limited and pricey, at least provided tasty meals. The facilities were adequate, ensuring a decent stay overall.
